George is a resource estimation geologist with over 25 years of experience in writing Technical Reports, and completing reviews and audits on projects ranging from exploration to bankable feasibility study level. George’s ability to draw on his geological skills and collaborate with mining engineers and metallurgists in either advancing mining projects or auditing existing operations has created a demand for his skill set and practical advice.

George has a broad range of resource estimation experience with industrial minerals, nickel, copper, zinc, silver, gold and iron ore projects in Africa, Europe, Asia, South America and North America.

George’s consulting assignments span the spectrum from designing regional exploration programs, planning infill drill programs for resource estimation, building geological databases, estimating mineral resources, defining metallurgical oretypes and designing metallurgical sampling programs and writing/reviewing/auditing the resource portion of preliminary economic assessments, pre-feasibility and bankable feasibility studies.

George’s recent focus has been on advancing iron ore and copper-gold projects.

Iron projects worked on are located in Brazil, Peru, Botswana, Sweden, Finland and in Canada the Labrador Trough, Baffin Island and the Belcher Islands.

Copper-gold projects worked on are located in Pakistan, Panama, British Columbia and Chile.

Through his own consulting business and in collaboration with various engineering consulting companies such as SNC-Lavalin, Amec, Hatch, Wardrop, Stantec, Hatch and Aker Kvaerner, George has provided his expertise to companies such as Antofagasta Minerals, Kinross Gold Corp, Cleveland Cliffs Mining Corp., Barrick Gold Corp, Newmont Mining Corp, Franco Nevada Corp, Western Mining Corp, and Tethyan Copper Corp.
